For me, editorial photography is about creating images that tell a story rather than simply taking a photograph of someone. It could be carefully planned and styled, or it could be much more natural and spontaneous. Sometimes the best images are the ones you didn’t quite plan.

 

I love working with people to create images with a particular mood, feel or story behind them. That might mean creating something polished and fashion-led, something raw and gritty, or something completely different that we’ve dreamt up together.

 

There doesn’t have to be a huge production behind it either. A good location, interesting light, the right styling and someone who is comfortable in front of the camera can be enough to create something really special.
